For forty years, the Curran family’s Greenmount House has been a true icon of Dingle hospitality.
The Curran family opened their lovely B&B way, way back in 1977, as a response to visitors who were – literally – knocking on their doors and asking if they had a room. Today, forty years later, the family demonstrate dazzling standards of cooking, housekeeping and hospitality, and what Gary Curran doesn’t know about the Dingle Peninsula isn’t worth knowing: this man will mark your card about everything that you need to see and appreciate about this unique beautiful place. A huge part of the appeal of this Dingle destination is the hand-made nature of so much of what they do, and breakfast, with freshly made breads, homemade preserves, poached fruits, and freshly cooked hot dishes, is a masterclass in the art of the Irish breakfast.
