The Wild Atlantic Way is a coastal touring route on the rugged West Coast of Ireland. It begins at The Foyle Bridge in County Derry, crosses into the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal, then heads down the west coast of Ireland, through Counties Sligo, Leitrim, Mayo, Galway, Clare, Limerick, Kerry and Cork, finally ending (or beginning) in the coastal town of Kinsale, in County Cork. At 2,500km in length it is actually the longest touring route in the world, and certainly one of the most spectacular.
